We at SENTIDO Hotels & Resorts deem security of your data and protection of your privacy to be of the utmost importance. On this page we would like to explain to you how we protect your data, which personal data we collect and what your data is used for.

1. Collection and use of your data

1.1. Personal data

We collect and protect all personal data in accordance with the statutory data
protection regulations prevailing in Germany. Solely such personal data is collected and transmitted to partners, which should be necessary for your trip. We commit our partners and our employees to comply with data secrecy regulations. Through notification, you are at all times entitled to oppose further use of your personal data for advertising purposes and/or passing on of such data for advertising purposes (Clause 1.7.).

1.2. Non-personal data

When surfing our web pages, the web server deployed by us stores the name of your internet service provider by default, the website from which you make your reservation with us, the web pages visited by you on our site as well as the date and time of your visit. We need this non-personal data in order for us to provide our service, monitor and improve on our services and performances.

1.3. Personal information, which you supply on a voluntary basis in connection with e.g. newsletter, competitions, etc.

Personal data supplied by you, such as e.g. in connection with competitions, is
saved. We exclusively use such data collected towards improving our services.
Such competitions, etc. are strictly confidential. We do not pass on personal data to third parties.

1.4. Your E-mail Address

We solely use your e-mail address towards purposes for which this address was made available to us. E.g. we use same in order to confirm receipt of e-mails forwarded to us or if we have to contact you for some reason or the other. Your email address will under no circumstances be passed on to third parties. We do not support random forwarding of commercial e-mails; so-called spam at any point in time. You only receive the SENTIDO Hotels & Resorts newsletters upon explicit request.

1.5. Use of Cookies

SENTIDO Hotels & Resorts uses cookies in order to recognise customer demands and to be able to adjust its internet presence accordingly. The use of cookies on the internet is common practice an also improves on the visitor’s convenience due to the fact that websites can be more easily adjusted to the visitor. The cookies saved on your computer by us remain there for an unlimited period of time and can be deleted by you any time. You can also disable saving of cookies at any time, respectively avoid saving from the outset by changing the security settings of your browser. However, please note that you have to allow cookies on your internet browser in order to use the SENTIDO website.

1.6. Protection of your data

The protection of your data is of utmost importance to us. In the event of a request for sensitive data, such as specifying payment details or during the buying process, we use SSL (=secure socket layer) technology. We follow generally accepted industry standards to safeguard sensitive data and to protect same against unauthorised access or illegitimate use. In the event that you should decide to pay with credit card, your card details are encrypted during transmission. Such data can then not be read by any third party during the time of transmission. This is in fact safer than communicating such details via telephone.

1.7. Revocation

I am entitled to revoke my consent with future effect at any time. I shall forward my

We shall cease forwarding the newsletter immediately after receipt of your revocation
and/or no longer pass on your data for advertising purposes.
